Overview

Small Wonder is a very special Tashiba 40 featuring all the benefits of her sisterships but in a lower maintenance and large clean open interior design.  Her care and maintenance by this one owner vessel is clear from the pictures but a visit to the boat will confirm she is a beauty with blue water capabilities through and through.

This winter, Small Wonder has had a  renewal of her navigation electronics during this winter storage season, including: New Raymarine autopilot, chartplotter/gps/radar,  wind instruments and tridata (speed, depth, temp) and a new VHF radio.  She also had her transmission rebuilt, engine mounts changed, a new propeller shaft, cutlass bearing and coupler and her propeller completely refurbished. And as ususual, her exterior teak receives two coats of fresh varnish.  She is ready to be launched for care free sailing and cruising for 2017.

There are many lesser boats for sale at much higher prices.  Small Wonder is worth consideration as it bring together the roominess of today's 40+ footer's, and the unique lines, craftsmanship and seagoing qualities of sailing yachts of the past.
Both on deck and below Small Wonder delivers a big spacious feel.  At 29,000 lbs displacement she has the feel of a substantial yacht.  Below, her interior features elegant woodwork, a wonderful layout for two couples, with a huge salon, two staterooms, a large head and a large galley and dining table.
