If you are not familiar with the Sabre 362 it is a sailboat designed for high-performance luxury cruising. The generous beam of the Sabre 362 gives her a very spacious 3 cabin layout yet with an open plan. The Sabre 362 can sleep six very comfortably but it is her finely hand-crafted varnished cherry joinery and her overall sea worthiness that has been a point of distinction and differentiation for Sabre since their founding.

MAR AH's forward stateroom is especially large with a full-width double berth and a convenient vanity sink unit.

The main salon has a full width table that folds against the bulkhead when not in use. The starboard settee converts to a double berth with the table out of the way. The port settee is full length and provides seating to the large and well equipped navigation station.

A separate aft cabin makes the boat perfect for taking family and friends out for more than just a day sail.

The molded fiberglass head features a contemporary island sink, a separate stall shower stall, an electric head, and a wet locker for foul weather gear.

The Sabre 362, like all Sabre hulls and decks, is built to withstand the rigors of the sea. Safety and structural integrity are put first in the construction by alternating layers of hand laminated fiberglass mat and knitted roving. Balsa core is used as a stiffener in areas of high stress. Hull durability is increased by incorporating vinylester resin and ISO NPG gelcoat into the DuraLam protection system.

Hull Construction - Single unit, balsa cored, hand-laminated fiberglass of alternate layers of mat knitted biaxial roving. - ISO NPG gelcoat. - Below waterline chopped strand glass and vinylester resin as a back-up for ISO NPG gelcoat. - Internal deck to hull joint. - Molded-in double boot and single cove stripes. - Bulkheads, berth faces, shelves and floor stringers laminated to hull providing integral, structural strength.

Deck Construction - Single unit, hand-laminated fiberglass with balsa core for stiffness, and marine mahogany plywood in lieu of balsa in high stress areas. - The deck is bonded to the hull using stainless steel thru-bolts every 6" with aircraft style locknuts . - Polyurethane sealant at the deck to hull joint.  Stem Head - Custom cast alloy stem head and anchor roller.

Underside - Balanced rudder is molded fiberglass bonded to a carbon fiber rudder post passing through a removable polyethylene bearing and support tube securely laminated to the hull.  Keel - A modern NACA section fin keel cast in lead with antimony added for strength. - Thru-bolted to a reinforced hull keel sump with stainless steel bolts and bronze nuts.
