VOLANT II is being offered for sale by her original owner.  She truly is in ready to sail away condtion.  Hallberg-Rassy's are built in Sweden.  The HR342 was a very popular award winning model, built from 2005 until 2018, 329 boats were built during that time.

VOLANT II  features all the equipment necessary to make sailing and cruising easy and comfortable.  She features tiller steering, two chartplotters, autopilot, AIS, an electric anchor windlass, a Webasto Airtop 3500 diesel heater system, upgraded interior features, lots of safety equipment, a winter cover and much more!

The HR342 main salon features a large drop leaf dining table with liquor storage in the center. There are settees on both port and starboard. The back rests fold up and each settee becomes a large comfortable bunk. When the backrest is in place it allows for convenient storage behind. The port settee is L-shaped.  A large navigation station is located aft to starboard. There is storage under the seat and chart storage in the table.

The HR342 features two private staterooms.  The forward stateroom has large double v-berth (6'9" wide x 7'1" long) with storage under for sails and gear, lockers and shelves above,  a hanging locker to starboard and  a large locker and cabinet to port.  There is good ventilation provided by two opening ports and a ceiling hatch with an OceanAire screen/shade.  The private aft cabin features a very large  5'9" wide x 7'1" long berth, two opening ports for good ventilation, a large hanging locker, a shelf and cabinet above the berth and stowage below.

Aft of the chart table is a large head with a large wet locker and storage outside of the large porcelain sink. There is a seperate pump for the shower that pumps directly overhead. the entire interior of the head is white mat reposal. Easy to clean. It would be easy to fit a curtain to keep the shower area seperate.

In addition to the features listed above VOLANT II also features heat on demand with the Webasto Airtop 3500 diesel heater. There are beige curtains,  beige carpet over the teak and holly sole. The main salon cushions are luxurious Alcantara in amber glow.  The mahogany interior is finished with a matt silk varnish. No fiberglass is visible, The ceiling is white headlining accentuated with mahogany inlay. There is excellent light and ventilation throughout the boat with 10 opening ports, two opening hatches and two Dorade vents.

VOLANT II has a sea friendly galley with plenty of handholds, lots of counter space and conveniences.  The galley is located aft to port just below the companionway with easy service access to the dining table in the salon or out to the cockpit.  The galley features a two burner propane stove and oven, a well-insulated Isotherm refrigerated icebox with two cold plates, double stainless steel sinks with covers, hot and cold pressure water plus 2 separate foot pumps with spigots at the sink for fresh or sea water.   There are drawers, cabinets and locker space under the galley counters. There are also lockers outboard of the galley that are deep and large. There are "Slide outs (cutting board) and a fold-up counter extension that add to the galley preparation and serving surfaces.
